What members get
Approved chapters get a batch of free passes to hand out to members. Every pass is a one-time purchase. No auto-renewal. Access ends automatically.
Members who buy their own pass instead of using a free code still count toward what the chapter earns.
How it works
- Apply below with your school email. We review applications by hand.
- Once approved, the officer who applied opens the Bedside app, goes to Settings, and taps “Refer a classmate” to generate the chapter’s code. It’s only created the first time that screen opens.
- Share the code with your chapter. Every member who signs up with it and buys a pass counts toward what the chapter earns, automatically.
The chapter’s code lives in the applying officer’s app, under Settings → Refer a classmate. Approved chapters that skip this step won’t have a code to share.
Who this is for
School chapters and state associations, in any nursing program. If you run a chapter meeting and need something on the agenda that isn’t another bake sale, this works as a five-minute pitch.

Questions
- Who can apply?
- Any nursing student association chapter or state association, applied for by a current officer. You'll need your school email to apply, and a personal Gmail, Yahoo, or similar address won't work for that field.
- How is this different from the individual Student Advocate program?
- The Student Advocate program pays an individual student for their own referrals. This program pays the chapter itself, at a fixed rate from day one, and it’s meant to be a chapter fundraiser rather than personal income for one member.
- How does the chapter actually get paid?
- Through whichever officer applied, using the payout method and handle on file. If that officer graduates or hands off the role, email us to update it before the next payout.
- How do members get their free passes?
- We'll set up a batch of codes for your chapter once you're approved. Hand them out however your chapter decides is fair.
- When does the chapter get paid?
- Thirty days after a member's purchase, to cover the App Store and Play Store refund window. We pay out by PayPal, Venmo, or Zelle.
- Can we ask members to leave App Store or Play Store reviews?
- No, not as part of this program, ever, paid or not. Asking for reviews in exchange for anything violates Apple and Google's policies, and it's not something we ask chapters to do.
