Bedside is for practice only. It's not medical advice and doesn't replace your clinical training or your institution's protocols. The AI patient behaves like a real patient, not a medical reference.

Does Bedside work for any nursing program?

Yes. Scenarios are mapped to the NCSBN Clinical Judgment Measurement Model and AACN Essentials Domain 2, so they apply across BSN, ABSN, ADN, and entry-level MSN programs.

What's the difference between Bedside and Nursify?

Nursify is a quiz platform. Bedside is voice. You're practicing what to say and how to say it, not selecting from a list.

What if my school already uses NurseKind?

Bedside is separate from the institutional product. Your own time, your own device, not connected to your school's account.

Terms of Service

Effective April 27, 2026

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Bedside app and hellobedside.com (together, the “Service”) operated by NurseKind AI LLC (“NurseKind,” “we,” “us”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Bedside. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this requirement. Bedside is intended for nursing students, nurses, and healthcare students engaged in professional education.

3. Educational use only — not medical advice

Bedside is a practice and learning tool. It is not medical advice, clinical decision support, or a substitute for your institution’s protocols, clinical training, or licensed supervision. Nothing in the Service should be used to make decisions about real patient care. The AI patients are simulations designed to help you practice communication skills — they are not medical resources and may contain inaccuracies.

4. Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at support@hellobedside.com if you suspect unauthorized access. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

5. Passes and purchases

All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store.
Passes are one-time purchases valid for the stated duration (30 or 60 days from purchase, or a single session). They are not subscriptions and do not auto-renew.
Access ends automatically when the pass expires. Unused sessions do not roll over.
Refund requests must be submitted directly to Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot issue refunds outside of Apple’s process.

6. Referral program

If you share your referral code and a new user completes their first pass purchase through your link, you receive 7 days of additional access added to your account automatically. Referral rewards have no cash value, are non-transferable, and cannot be combined or applied retroactively. We may modify or discontinue the referral program at any time without prior notice.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the AI patient prompts or rubric data
Share your account credentials with others
Use the Service to harass, abuse, or harm any person
Attempt to access systems or data beyond your authorized scope
Use automated tools to interact with the Service (bots, scrapers, etc.)
Misrepresent Bedside practice feedback as official clinical evaluation

8. Custom scenarios

Pass holders may create personal practice scenarios. You are solely responsible for the content you create. You retain ownership of your content but grant NurseKind a limited license to store and serve it back to you. We do not review user-created scenarios. Personal scenarios are deleted when your account is deleted.

9. Intellectual property

The Bedside app, scenarios, rubrics, brand, and all content NurseKind created are owned by NurseKind AI LLC. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our trademarks, logos, or proprietary content outside of normal app use.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. NURSEKIND DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SUITABLE FOR ANY PARTICULAR PURPOSE. AI-GENERATED FEEDBACK IS FOR EDUCATIONAL USE ONLY AND MAY CONTAIN ERRORS.

11. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NURSEKIND AI LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO NURSEKIND IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time via Settings → Privacy → Delete Account. Upon termination, your access to the Service ends and your data is deleted per our Privacy Policy.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified in the app before they take effect. Continued use after notice constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
